Absolutely brilliant course and just wonderful tutors - highly recommended Afro Hair Academy Wales! We travelled from Northern Ireland for the Textured Barbering Course and would do it again in a heartbeat! 5 stars from me!

Good experienced teachers, they ensure to teach all including hygiene and salon maintenance. Good environment good people.

I had the pleasure of attending a 3 Dy Textured Hair Course at the Afro Hair Academy Wales.The teacher was amazing, her teaching style makes you feel like it’s a one to one session. She had an abundance of patience and so generous with her knowledge. I am left handed and sometimes struggle following demonstrations, but the teacher was able to recommend ways of holding and adding hair braids, which made braiding easier. I learned so much on the course, and not only that, the aftercare the academy offers is second to none. If l needed help support and guidance the teacher was always there to give support and guidance. I genuinely, cannot recommend this course enough as the teaching style and knowledge received is invaluable.

I was lucky enough to be a student of the owner of the Afro Hair Academy Wales when she delivered a training course at JT Make Up Studio in Leeds. I loved every moment of the 3 days and learnt so much. Thank you so much, for you time, patience and sharing your expertise in textured hair. Can’t wait to re sign up for the cutting course in the near future.

I attended the 3 Day Gents Textured Hair Barbering Course. The experience l gained was really good and can honestly say it will help me so much in my future job roles as a junior trainee makeup artist. Learning to work with textured hair is very different to normal hair types and learning to fade with confidence did it for me.
